SVEADIESEL HAVE MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH MILITARY EQUIPMENT
As a matter of fact Sveadiesel AB have worked with military products since it was founded in 1949, so our ties to the military are strong!
A new area for us is equipment for police and emergency services. We offer both remote-controlled fire extinguishing robots from the Croatian company DOK-ING and OC-products from Swiss Piexon.
During the recent years we have been involved in multiple large deals. For example helicopter 15 where the Defence Material Administration (FMV) procured 20 modern light helicopters from Italian/British manufacturer AgustaWestland (AW, now Leonardo) in the beginning of the 21st century. The helicopter is of type AW 109 LUH.
Another deal within defence that we are proud of is the contract of the Leguan bridge laying system from the German manufacturer Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. FMV signed this deal in June 2014 and the first bridge laying systems were delivered late in late 2016.
Sveadiesel have a cooperation with the German company Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellshaft mbH (FFG) that are specialized in modifications of military vehicles. They have also designed and produced their own vehicle system such as the ACSV G5.
